Plumpton races 16 times a year between September and May, and is one of the UK’s leading small Jump racecourses.

We are renowned as a nursery ground for many of National Hunt racing’s future equine stars, with three of the first four home in the 2009 Grand National having run previously at Plumpton.

We are regularly visited by many of the UK’s top trainers and jockeys. Champion Jockey A P McCoy is Plumpton’s most successful rider, and rode his historic 3000th winner at Plumpton on 9th February 2009.
