A: Hopefully all the information to plan your day at the races is available on this website, or you can contact us to find out more. You can book your admission tickets online up to 5 days before a racemeeting. Alternatively you can buy tickets at the turnstiles on the day.

A: Buying in advance is cheaper as you get a special advance discount and it saves you time queuing on the day.

A: There is no formal dress code at Plumpton Racecourse – we recommend you dress for the weather. On Ladies Day many people do wear hats and make it a special occasion.

A: We have plenty of free parking.

A: Plumpton primarily races through the winter months, and are used to racing in all conditions. We have three covered Grandstands – we do recommend you check the weather forecast and ensure you are appropriately dressed.

A: We have a cash machine in the Southdown Bar which is accessible to Grandstand and Paddock/One Enclosure ticket holders. However we do encourage you to bring enough cash with you to enjoy a great day out. We accept cash at all our entrances, and have credit card machines at the majority of them.

A: Our website closes for ticket sales 6 days before a racemeeting (ie at 10am on Monday for a Sunday fixture or 10am on Tuesday for Monday fixtures). This enables us to process all bookings and ensure the tickets are sent out to you in time for the racemeeting.

A. Dogs are welcome into the centre of the course but must be on a lead and under control at all times. With the exception of guide dogs, no dogs are permitted on the grandstand side of the course.

A. You are welcome to take photographs for non-commercial use, but please note that no flash photography is permitted near the horses.

A: There are two designated disabled car parking areas – one for Picnic Enclosure customers and one for Grandstand & Premier Enclosure customers. To access these car parks, please display your disabled person’s parking permit, and the car must contain the disabled person named on the permit. We also have disabled toilets, dedicated raised viewing areas and access ramps.
