Plumpton Racecourse greatly appreciates the support of owners and trainers of horses running at Plumpton. As an owner with a runner, we can offer a number of benefits including free entry, dedicated car parking, racecard, private suite and complimentary refreshments.

Owner’s Badge Policy

Owners Badges can be collected on racedays by visiting the Owners entrance.

To access this entrance and the dedicated Owners with Runners Car Park, please use the main south entrance to the Racecourse.

If you are travelling from the north, please drive past the first entrance gate by the station crossing along Plumpton Lane, and take  the second road entrance on the right hand side about 1/2 mile after the level crossing.

If you are travelling from the south, please take the first turning signposted to Plumpton Racecourse off Plumpton Lane, on the left hand side.

Follow the road and signage to Plumpton Racecourse until just past the stables. The Owners with Runners Car Park is situated on the left hand side. Due to limited availability, we only have space for a maximum of 4 cars per runner in this Car Park, though there is plenty of free parking elsewhere.

The Owners entrance is in the small wooden building  to the right hand side, just before you enter the racecourse.

Horses in Single Ownership- 4 badges

Horses owned by a Partnership – 6 badges

Horses owned by a Syndicate – 8 badges

Additional Badges are available at a discount on application to the Racecourse Office or Owners entrance at £10 each

To order an allocation of owners badges for a runner, please email racing@plumptonracecourse.co.uk or fax to 01273 891557 by 9am on the day of racing with details of

• Horse’s name, and race time
• Owners name details, and number of badges allocated to each owner
• Your name and contact telephone number

Other Information for Owners & Trainers with Runners on the Day

A private suite is located within the Southdown Stand with bar, tote facility and dedicated viewing balcony overlooking the finishing post.  Complimentary tea, coffee and cakes are served throughout the day and light lunches are also available from just £5.00.

Winning Owners receive a memento and DVD of their horse’s success and will be invited to watch a replay of the race over a glass of champagne. Every winning owner also receives a complimentary photograph.
